The doctor will then prepare the particular teeth that need the dental crowns or the teeth that will support the dental bridge. An impression of the missing teeth and the adjacent teeth will be obtained, and it will be sent off to the laboratory where the crown will be made. We can then schedule your next appointment so that your crown or bridge will be installed. And in the meantime we will place a temporary crown or bridge to keep your teeth from further damage.

While we are preparing the teeth that will support the crown or the bridge, we make sure that this particular part of your mouth is totally numb.
